Kneeling Squat Jump
This month’s article concentrates a great plyometric exercise to build power! The exercise is named the Kneeling Squat Jump. This exercise is great for first step quickness and to increase jumping ability. The athlete needs to sit back on their heels and then explode upward using their arms and hips. I usually have my athletes start with 3 to 6 repetitions for 4 to 5 sets with just bodyweight and then add dumbbells. Then for the advanced athlete, you can do kneeling squat into a box jump onto a box.
